Sync your Vegvisits calendar with others

If you list your space on other websites, you can now prevent multiple guests from booking the same dates by syncing your Vegvisits calendar with your other calendars.

Calendar importing

Calendar importing allows you to automatically keep your Vegvisits calendar up to date with an external calendar that supports iCal format, including Google calendar and the calendar on Airbnb or VRBO.

To import a calendar:

1) On vegvisits.com, go to Host and select Manage Listings

2) Click the Edit Listing button for the listing calendar you’d like to sync with other platforms

3) At the bottom of the Listing Steps page, click on the link Sync your calendar with other platforms (Note: this option will only appear if your listing is a Published listing).

4) Under Sync calendars, select Import Calendar

5) Copy the URL for your other calendar into the Calendar address (URL) field* (see below to find the correct URL link on Airbnb)

6) Name your calendar

7) Click Import Calendar

*To find your Airbnb calendar URL link:

1) On airbnb.com, go to your listing's calendar page and click on the link that says Availability Settings

2) Select Calendar sync on the left

3) Click Export Calendar



4) Copy & paste the Airbnb link into the Vegvisits Import Calendar field

If you edit an external calendar that syncs with your calendar on Vegvisits, it will take 24 hours for those changes to be visible to guests viewing your listing.

Calendar exporting

Calendar exporting lets you view your Vegvisits calendar on an external calendar that supports the iCal format such as on Airbnb and VRBO.

To export your Vegvisits calendar in iCal format and add it to your external calendar:

1) On vegvisits.com, go to Host and select Manage Listings

2) Click the Edit Listing button for the listing calendar you’d like to export

3) At the bottom of the Listing Steps page, click on the link Sync your calendar with other platforms (Note: this option will only appear if your listing is a Published listing).

4) Under Sync calendars, select Export Calendar

5) Copy and paste the Vegvisits calendar link into your iCal applications*

*To import your Vegvisits calendar to Airbnb:

1) On airbnb.com, go to your listing's calendar page and click on the link that says Availability Settings

2) Select Calendar sync on the left

3) Click Import Calendar

4) Copy the URL for your Vegvisits calendar into the Calendar address field, give your Vegvisits calendar a name and click Import Calendar
